The Half Marathon - 3rd Memorial Azeglio Vicini of the Alzheimer Marathon, is a FIDAL approved race and winds in a flat and linear path for a really fast race.
After starting at the Orogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi in Cesena, the route continues on the cycle path next to the stream and in the countryside of Romagna, where it then reaches the city of Cesenatico and continues for the last 5 km passing from Viale Abba up to the pier and then return to the Levante Park passing through the Giardini a Mare and under the skyscraper.
Since 2018, following the disappearance of the former coach Azeglio Vicini, the Half Marathon has been named "Memorial Azeglio Vicini" thanks to a collaboration with the Panathlon Club of Cesena. At the start of the race, the passage to the Rotonda of the Cesena Stadium "Azeglio Vicini" is foreseen, while on Cesenatico, just below the skyscraper in Piazza Costa next to the Rotonda Vicini, an intermediate milestone is set which sees awards to the first who will reach it.
DEPARTURE TIME: 9:45 - maximum time 3 hours
The main feature of all the competitions of the event is that the registration includes a donation of 10 € to the Alzheimer 360 ° Fund for assistance, prevention and research of the disease.

The recommended parking for those arriving by car at the start is in Via Leopoldo Lucchi in Cesena.
It is possible to change from 8:00 in the changing rooms of the Versari Macrelli Institute with access from Via Venezia Giulia, the bib collection, for those who do not do it on Saturday, will be in Piazzale Olimpia.
The departure is in Via del Mare.
The organization makes available to athletes registered for the race, only upon request at the time of registration, the bus service from Cesenatico to Cesena, with departures before the race or after the race.

Pre-race: from 8:00 to 8:30
The departure of the post-race shuttles is in Via dei Mille, towards Cesenatico (exit behind the park towards the sea).
Post-race: 1.30pm - 2.30pm
It will be possible to make a change in the shuttle request only by closing the registrations on Wednesday 9/09/2020. Any further changes may be made based on the availability of the places left only on Saturday 12/09/2020 at the bib collection stand at the Levante Park in Cesenatico.
Before entering the pullman, athletes must show volunteers the nominal ticket that will be received by Friday 11/09/2020 by email. Before boarding the bus, it is advisable to check the sign indicating the place of destination.
The bib number will be assigned chronologically automatically at the time of registration and will be indicated in the confirmation email that will arrive by Friday 11 September. The race bib is personal and cannot be sold or exchanged, nor used for races other than the one to which you are registered. It must be attached to the chest with four pins in such a way as to be entirely visible: it cannot be folded and must remain intact until the end of the competition. The participant who is on sections of the course not corresponding to his race number will be considered out of the race and without any insurance coverage or assistance from the organization.
At the time of the race bib collection, the athletes in good standing in the foreseen modalities must present the confirmation letter (sent via email at the end of registration and still available here) and a valid identity document, who will have the suspended registration must deliver the card and, the non-Fidal members, also the competitive medical certificate proving the fitness for athletics. Delivery to groups and / or sports clubs is not foreseen except with advance notice. To collect bibs of other athletes, a copy of their identity card must be shown.
The bib can be collected on Saturday 12 September, from 10:00 to 18:00 in Cesenatico at the Parco di Levante and Sunday 13 September, from 8:15 to 9:15, at the Dino Manuzzi Stadium in Cesena.

N.B. The first ten absolute are excluded from the category prizes.
