"Maratona Alzheimer" Half Marathon route is a Fidal's competition that winds along a flat and linear course, for a really fast race.
It will start from Cesena's Dino Manuzzi Stadium and - continuing along the bike lane skirting the torrent and, then, in Romagna's countryside - will reach Cesenatico and will go on, for the remaining 5 Km, passing through the seafront, up to the town's skyscraper and harbour, before arriving at Parco di Levante, where all competitions will end.
Participation fees for the Half Marathon competition (including the Runner's kit, a chip, a race bib and refreshments and health services along the route) are:

Registration fees do not include pre- or post- competition shuttle bus transportation. Shuttle bus service is available upon previous (at the moment of the registration) request only, at a cost of 2 €.
For your sojourn in Cesenatico, we chose The Leonardo Hotel*** , a state-of-the-art structure whose strategic position will give you the chance of discovering Cesenatico and relaxing at the beach. Moreover, the hotel is situaded near Parco di Levante, where the "Maratona Alzheimer Village" is located. Services included: free parking, availability of bycicles, Internet Point and Wireless connection. The stay is free for kids aged up to 14 years.
The package cost INCLUDES A RACE BIB and other services reserved to the RUNNERS: early breakfast on the day of the competition, post-poned check-out at 6:00 P.M., race bib collection at the hotel and included shuttle transportation.

Thanks to your donation, a young researcher will be able to dedicate himself to the study of
the cerebral alterations that occur at the cellular level before Alzheimer's symptoms appear, in order
to develop possible therapeutical interventions to counter the disease.
